"Discipline & Consistency"

Actor Denzel Washington is a distinguished gentleman and I am a fan of his work. Humble, solid and down to earth. He's played a breathtaking range of characters. Each character seems to be chosen carefully as well as a lesson or message learned in each of his films. There's an importance in reflection of character both on and off screen. Character takes you places in life as well as a movie. In a speech Denzel Washington gave provided the type of mind frame to have when setting your agenda & everyday approach to living. Below are some quotes from Denzel words of inspiration to live by.

Having faith in all you do is important. Be grateful and express gratitude daily...

"Number one: Put God first. Put God first in everything you do. Everything you think you see in me.  Everything I’ve accomplished, everything thing you think I have – and I have a few things. Everything that I have is by the grace of God. Understand that. It’s a gift."

Are you able to share your gifts with the world? Can you be a teacher & a student?

Be of service, your gifts don't have to be financial, you can share knowledge & wisdom, advocacy, mentoring and community service. As the saying goes each one teach one.

"It's not what you have, it's what you do with what you have."

Discipline & consistency are important between your idea and execution. Stay steady, keep determination and stick to what you set your mind to do.

"Between goals and achievement are discipline and consistency."

On the evening of August 27,2015 I was attacked by my ex boyfriend. I was feeling overwhelmed at his house because of some information he mentioned to me. It made me feel uncomfortable. We laid down back to back to each other. I was upset with him about a text message a girl sent to him. There was verbal abuse for sure. He leaned over and punched me in th
